A studio of one, with the standards of many.
Boulevard Branding exists because too many good small businesses are held back by bad design.
By day I'm the COO of Lotpop, an automotive software company, where I've spent years working alongside small business owners who are excellent at what they do but stuck with branding that doesn't reflect it. Boulevard Branding is the studio I run to fix that.
I studied marketing and photography at Columbia College Chicago, which is a long way of saying I learned to think about brands as both a strategist and a visual storyteller. Since 2022 I've been helping small businesses with branding and marketing work, from one-off logo refreshes to full identity systems and websites.
The studio is intentionally small. One person, no account managers, no junior designers handing your project off to someone you've never met. You work with me from the kickoff call to the final handoff. That's the trade: you get senior-level attention, and I get to keep the studio focused on the kind of work I actually want to do.
The aesthetic leans editorial. Calm, considered, confident. I'm drawn to typography that breathes, color that doesn't shout, and identities that age well. If your brand needs to look like it was built in a weekend, I'm probably not your designer. If you want it to look like it was built to last, we should talk.
A simple process, taken seriously.
